Info on 2022 Diamonds in the Rough Event

Event Details

Sunday, May 1st, 2022 – Party with a Purpose at the Verrado Grille Lawn

Join us the night before the tournament for a party you wont want to miss! Get a chance to mingle with other golfers and guests while listening to live music from Doug Mathis and a DJ.  Try your hand at a chipping contest and watch the ball drop.  You will also be able to view and start bidding on our auction items.  Entry is free for all golfers, guest tickets are $50 per person.  Tickets include appetizers and one drink ticket.  Cash bar.

Party with a Purpose Timeline:

  • 5:00 PM – Party starts
  • 5:30 PM – Chipping Contest starts
  • 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM – Live performance from Doug Mathis
  • 7:00 PM – Ball Drop
  • 9:00 PM – Party ends

Monday, May 2nd, 2022 – Golf at Founders Course, Verrado Golf Club

Activities on Monday will kick off with check in, then the grab-and-go breakfast, Putt for Proof, and a shotgun start. The format is a 4 person scramble with 3 flights.  During play there will be many opportunities to win prizes with closest to the pin, longest drive, and hole-in-one games as well as sponsor provided activities on some holes.

As golfers finish for the day, we will join for lunch and the award ceremony where first, second and third place prizes will be presented for each flight.  This will also be the last chance to bid on auction items.

Golf Timeline:

  • 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM – Check in, Grab-and-go Breakfast, Putt for Proof, Team pictures
  • 7:45 AM – All golfers to their carts
  • 7:45 AM to 8:00 AM – Drive out to starting holes
  • 8:00 AM – Golf begins with Shotgun start
  • 1:30 PM – Lunch begins
  • 2:00 PM – Auction closes and Awards presented

REGISTRATION FAQs

Yes, only full teams are able to register for our event.  You will receive a Confirmation of Registration which will include all provided player names.  You can forward the Confirmation to the other players, if necessary.

All payments will be processed through PayPal. At the end of your registration there will be a “Checkout” button that will take you out to PayPal. Once there you can login to your PayPal account, or just enter your credit card information.  You will receive a receipt from PayPal.  If needed, you can provide copies of the receipt to the other players.

Yes! Golfer names can be changed up to 2 weeks before the event without charge. Changes in the 2 weeks before the event may include a $20 change fee. If you don’t know who is going to play in your team yet, you can always register now and then add your team member names later.

No, you can add GHIN numbers after registration is complete.  We will also be emailing all registered golfers before the event to ask for any missing GHIN numbers. 

No, GHIN numbers are only used to determine the flights for the tournament.  Players without GHIN numbers are welcome to play!
No, you can add email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses after registration is complete. We will follow up after you have registered if you have missing or invalid emails for your teammates.
