Join us for the 2022 Diamonds in the Rough Charity Golf Event brought to you by Helping Others Together (HOT) Community Foundation.  Proceeds from the event will support HOT’s Sugar Plum Fairies initiative, where we support struggling families in the West Valley by giving them a magical Christmas they will remember for years to come.

Diamonds in the Rough is a two-day golf event including the Party with a Purpose on Sunday evening, golf on Monday morning, and an award ceremony luncheon on Monday afternoon.  The tournament is open to both men and women and is sure to be a fun event!

What you can look forward to:

Sunday, May 1st, 2022 – Party with a Purpose at the Verrado Grille

Join us the night before the tournament for a party you wont want to miss! Get a chance to mingle with other golfers and guests while listening to live music from Doug Mathis and a DJ.  Try your hand at a chipping contest and watch the ball drop onto the 18th green, balls can be purchased online or in person before the event.  You will also be able to view and start bidding on our auction items.  Entry is free for all golfers, guest tickets are $50 per person.  Tickets include appetizers and one drink ticket.  Cash bar.

Party Timeline:

• 5:00 PM – Party starts
• 5:45 PM – Chipping Contest starts
• 6:15 PM to 7:00 PM – Live performance from Doug Mathis
• 7:00 PM – Ball Drop
• 9:00 PM – Party ends

Monday, May 2nd, 2022 – Golf

Activities on Monday will kick off with check in, then the grab-and-go breakfast, Putt for Proof, and a shotgun start. The format is a 4 person scramble with 3 flights.  During play there will be many opportunities to win prizes with closest to the pin, longest drive, and hole-in-one games as well as sponsor provided activities on most holes.

As golfers finish for the day, we will join for lunch and the award ceremony where first, second and third place prizes will be presented for each flight.  This will also be the last chance to enter for raffle prizes and bid on auction items.  Additional lunch tickets may be available for purchase for guests.

Golf Timeline:

• 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM – Check in, Grab-and-go Breakfast, Putt for Proof, Team pictures
• 7:45 AM to 8:00 AM – Drive out to starting holes
• 8:00 AM – Golf begins with Shotgun start
• 1:30 PM – Lunch begins
• 2:00 PM – Auction closes and Awards presented

Cost

The cost for the tournament is $1,000 per foursome.  This includes all of your green fees, tickets to the social event and lunch, as well as entry into all of the games with exception of the ball drop.  Handicaps will be provided for those that don’t have a GHIN number.

The name of a player on your team can be replaced up to 72 hours prior to the start of the event for no charge.

Team cancellations made by March 20th, 2022 will be 100% refunded less a fixed processing fee of $20.00. Refunds will be processed through PayPal, if possible.

Team cancellations between March 21st, 2022 and April 10th, 2022 will be 50% refunded less a fixed processing fee of $20.00. Refunds will be processed through PayPal, if possible.

Team cancellations after April 11th, 2022 for ANY reason will not be refunded.
