HOT Board Members

Beth McGee, President and Steering Committee Lead

Prior to retiring in 2021, Beth served as the President/CEO of Blood Bank Computer Systems, a family-owned company based in Auburn, Washington which provides software to ensure a safe blood supply to thousands of people across the United States daily.  During her 31 years at BBCS, her ‘volunteering’ was primarily limited to financial help due to the time required for her job, however philanthropic service has always been a passion.

As a founding member of Helping Others Together (HOT) Community Foundation, she now has an opportunity to combine her desire to help those less fortunate in her community with her joy of organizing people and events. Her strong organizational skills, technical savvy, diligence, and ability to empower people to do good things, make her the perfect leader for HOT!

While Beth loves planning and executing events for HOT, her ability to throw a party for friends and family is unparalleled! She also enjoys golfing, boating, and spending time with loved ones.

As HOT has grown over the years we have become more reliant on SalesForce, our CRM software, and Becca’s leadership in this arena is second to none!

Becca has said that “there is nothing better than seeing the kids light up during Gift Presentations and hearing the parents’ stories about how much our efforts mean to them and to their kids.” When she is not volunteering with HOT, she enjoys reading, drinking a good cup of tea, playing with her dog, and organizing everything in sight
